2025 Case IH C500 Series Corn Heads C516

Information

2025 Case IH C500 Series Corn Heads C516

The C500 series corn heads mark a major advancement in harvest capacity and reliability. These new corn heads pick more corn faster, cleaner and more efficiently. Even in the most challenging conditions, such as downed corn, these corn heads perform.

Engineered for Today’s Combines

To match the capacity and power of today’s larger combines, we’ve engineered the C500 series corn heads to meet these increased demands. Functional and durable, with beefed-up row units that are lighter than previous models, C500 series corn heads deliver unmatched performance in the field. Cover more ground, even in demanding harvest conditions, with a corn head that can handle any corn crop with ease.

Features may include:

Designed for Precise, High-Capacity Harvesting

C500 series corn heads have been updated to ensure your crop is handled quickly and efficiently. C512 and C516 corn heads feature the industry’s largest auger. At 23.6 inches, capacity is increased nearly 50% compared to previous models. The C508 and C518 models feature the highly efficient 15.75-inch auger.

C500 series corn heads are compatible with RowGuide Pro™, which combines GPS with advanced sensor technology for seamless row tracking and easier combine operation, even in the most demanding harvest conditions.

Capacity
  • With the largest infeed auger in the industry and improved row unit design, overall capacity has been increased nearly 50% over previous models.
Weight
  • Engineering advancements have reduced weight by more than 100 pounds per row unit without sacrificing durability.
  • Less weight provides a better center of gravity for the header and combine with reduced weight at the front on the combine.
Durability
  • Driveline maintenance requirements have been reduced.
  • Gearboxes replace chain drives, improving durability and performance and reducing maintenance intervals.
  • Row unit and chopper drivelines are independent, providing individual overload protection for both the chopper and row unit drives.
Productivity
  • Industry-exclusive dual self-adjusting hydraulic deck plates come standard. Two methods of adjustment allow for easy fine-tuning as field conditions change: in-cab operator adjustment to meet overall crop conditions, and automatic micro adjustments for changing field conditions.
  • Header mounted sensors provide in-cab slip detection, immediately notifying the operator.
  • Powered end-divider augers ensure optimum productivity in even the most challenging conditions.
  • Tall-corn attachments are available.
Dividers and Hoods

Smoother, Cleaner Picking

Case IH's proven hood and divider design ensures smoother and cleaner picking, particularly in downed corn.

The redesigned outer hoods accommodate divider augers and tall corn attachments and can be changed without modifications or the need for tools.

Row Unit

Lighter yet Rugged

Engineered for today’s combines, C500 series row units are notably lighter. A non-chopping C500 series row unit is approximately 100 pounds lighter, while a C500 series chopping row unit assembly is approximately 88 pounds lighter, when compared to previous models.

Independent drive lines for row unit and chopper drives with dedicated slip clutch protection ensures optimal performance and reduces the risk of damage to the entire drive system.
